I wish I could write like you so the words would come together with the grace and impact your writing brings. (Anyone reading this that knows you is gently nodding their head in agreement ). It was 1 of life’s miracle’s that brought us together on this ride of laughter, tears and love. Thank you for literally carrying me through the past year, for so much love and wisdom and patience our whole lives together. It is impossible to put my love for you in a post or to edit to a single quote of which we are connected by so many … searching for photos of us I went back to THE OG & I realized that we are less than a year older than my daughters are now… cheers 🥂 to you on your day today. As most of you know, we shuttered our beloved brand. After years of passionately creating beautiful products with love & care for people & planet. We could no longer sustain the business. I am personally going thru my own grieving process and try as I may not ready to engage - yet. I know my calling remains strong - if not stronger now. We must change this industry. I will not continue to pilfer our planets resources for clothes. I will rise again from these ashes & use my voice to facilitate change. Perhaps I will find a bigger megaphone that can facilitate faster change. I will not sit back & watch .. on so many level our planet needs change, a mothering , feminine change that is empathetic & caring of Mother Earth. Thank you all for all of your support. ✨11.11✨ HAHppy Birthday to my Mama & Gratitude to my Papa for his service 🇺🇸 Only after I became a mother myself did I have the context to remotely understand how heavy this time must have been for my parents. Photos are from Hawaii when my father was on R&R from Vietnam. My mom had just given birth to me 4 months prior, my dad had yet to meet me. The 2 of them so in love … my dad flew back to war to fight in a battle that he would have to live thru the rest of his life. My mom flew home to a newborn and a 2 year old that she was raising alone in a small town she was not from. At the ages of 20-22 years old as newly weds … thank you @sherrecernster@phillipernsterjr for your love, for my beautiful life and we celebrate you both today from CA to TX sending our love 💗
