Some exciting news! The Aerium will be hosting a horse vaulting workshop (barrel only) Saturday July 6, 9am-12pm. We are also adding summer barrel classes on Wednesdays 6-7pm. The first class is next week! No prior experience is necessary and this is open to all ages and abilities. It’s not just for kids!!

We’re so excited to be offering Move With Me, a child/partner class for ages 1-4.
Through music, children will learn foundational skills in dance, gymnastics, and aerial arts while enhancing motor skills and coordination. Classes are an engaging experience for learning and offer a unique opportunity to build memories with your child. You might just get a workout too! 😉
Classes will be led by Claudia Torkelson @the.aerial.ninja mother of four and a Certified Movement Specialist with over 20yrs coaching experience.

Dive into the world of Acro Yoga with our Intro Workshop! This workshop offers a playful and supportive environment where students can explore the fundamentals of acro yoga. This class will focus on the basics of flying, basing and spotting. Acro yoga is a wonderful practice to build trust and communication among you and your community. No partner or acro experience necessary to attend! $35 single drop in. $60 for partner drop in.
March 16 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Bio: April and Travis are both certified Yoga Instructors since 2014 and have taught acro yoga workshops around San Antonio since 2016. They currently perform Partner and Trio Acro along with other various circus acts. They are the founders and owners of Breakthrough Entertainment LLC, a circus arts entertainment company that performs in the Southern Texas region. April has her degree in Early Childhood Education (EC-6) and taught 6th grade math for 3 years. Prior to teaching math, she was a gymnastics coach for 6 years. Travis has his degree in Nutrition Science and is currently serving as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Army.

Dara is teaching an Angel Roll Up workshop on Sunday, Feb 4 from 6-8pm.
What to expect
- Floor warm up focused on abdominal control and key components of straight arm and leg movement
- How to wring the fabric with your arms and holding weight at each 90° rotation
- The common entry to angel roll up
- The 5 phase roll
- Putting it all together!
Cost: $45
Prerequisites: pull-ups, iron man, 1-2 years fabric experience, push ups, straight arm inversion (not legs). If you're not sure - just ask Dara!
