So many fruits, so little time! It seems only appropriate that we celebrate pineapples the day after we give salute to the mighty coconut doesn’t it? And International Pineapple Day it is indeed. Things in Hawaii must really be popping off! You say pineapple and I say tropical cocktail! Shake yourself up a couple of these and join the festivities! Fantasy Island Mule 1 oz Tiki Rum (@cardinalspirits ) 1 oz Pau Maui Vodka (@paumauivodka ) .5 oz Gold Rum .5 oz Passion Fruit Liqueur (@chinola ) 1 oz Mango Guava Syrup (homemade) 1 oz Lime Juice 1 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice 3-4 oz Ginger Beer (@regattacraftmixers ) 8 drops ‘Elemakule Tiki Bitters (@bittermens ) Combine all ingredients except ginger beer and bitters in a shaker with a big scoop of crushed or nugget ice. Give it a few good shakes to chill and then pour everything straight into your glass. Top off with ginger beer and bitters, stir and enjoy! Mango Guava Syrup 1 Mango - diced 5 Mexican Guavas (the small ones) - ends removed and quartered Several small pieces of Star Anise 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 1 /2 cups water Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Simmer on a low temperature for about 20 minutes, stirring occassionally. Once syrup looks fairly thick and fruit has become pretty mushy, remove from heat. Strain, cool, and bottle. Syrup should keep for about 2 weeks refrigerated.

Oh hello, National Coconut Day! I see you! Give me anything with coconut - cocktail, dessert and even soda water! Coconut La Croix is one of the top 3 best flavors - fight me. Why yes I do like my sweet treats to be fairly reminiscent of sunscreen, thank you very much. But you do know that they don’t all have to be sticky sweet, right? And you can have a fabulous coconut-y summertime drink that doesn’t taste like its 90% syrup poured into a blender from a paper carton. News flash - a colada on the rocks is one of the best beachy cocktails you are going to shake up this summer. Promise. Co-co-colada YaVe Colada 2 oz Caribbean Dark Rum (@tentoonerum ) 1 oz Coconut Liqueur (@mahinacoconut ) 1 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice ½ oz Cream of Coconut (@real_infused_exotics ) Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake briskly to chill and combine. Strain into a rocks glass full of ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and a chunk of fresh coconut.

We may only be a few days in, but I’m ready to declare it– Summer’s official flavor is none other than watermelon! Whether it’s this summer or every summer, when the temperature rises there’s nothing like diving into some refreshing watermelon. It’s the ultimate cool-down treat, and the best thing is - you can drink it too! Get ready for a season filled with watermelon cocktails like never before! Starting off with a twist on my favorite, the Aperol Spritz. Add a splash of tequila and you’re set for a summer you won’t forget. Cheers to watermelon season! Sandía Spritz 1 oz Blanco Tequila (@elbandidoyankee ) 2 oz Watermelon Juice 2 oz Aperol (or your favorite bitter orange aperitif) 3 oz Prosecco Splash Lime Soda Water Fill a large glass with cracked clear ice. Build directly in glass, ending with chilled soda water and Prosecco. Stir. Garnish with a slice of watermelon and orange, and a sprig of fresh mint. My new favorite spritz glass by @luigibormioli ! DM for details! #watermelonspritz #aperolspritz #tequilaspritz #tequila #SummerVibes #watermelon #watermeloncocktail #elbandidoyankee

☀️ Embracing the official start of Summer today! ☀️ Even though this heat wave had us feeling the summer vibes a week early, let’s cool down with some fabulous drinks. 🍹🍸 Bringing back a fan favorite to celebrate this season—it’s a real delight! Don’t miss out, give this lemony treat a try! Pink Lemon Drop 2 oz Lemon Vodka (I used Frankly Organic) .5 oz Triple Sec 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .5 oz Simple Syrup 1 Raspberry (frozen) Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled and raspberry has turned the mixture pink. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a pink lemon wheel (yes, they’re really real!) or a regular lemon slice will do just fine. Enjoy! #pinklemondrop #SummerVibes #lemondrop #lemon #lemoncocktail #lemondropcocktail #lemondropmartini

Did you know it’s National Pet Appreciation Week? Actually, I bet you did. Perhaps you’ve already been considering bringing a new furry best friend into your life, haven’t you? You know what I say? Go for it! We personally have 3 of the sweetest girls on the planet, who have all been adopted from rescues. Swipe through to see the cutest ever faces of Gidget, Nugget, and Miss Pickles! I can’t add any more pets to the mix right now, but perhaps YOU can! And while you’re perusing @petfinder , you should make sure you’re sipping on a cocktail that’s made with the fabulous @fuzzbutt_vodka - an ultra premium Vodka made with dog lovers in mind! Named in tribute to the late good boy and notorious fuzzbutt, Cody, (as seen on the label) FUZZBUTT Premium Vodka donates 50% of its profits to animal rescue charities - including - @aspca , @heartsandbonesrescue , @muttvillesf , and @muddypawsrecuenyc . What can be better than that! Consider picking up a bottle and supporting their cause. And after you do, mix yourself up on of these treats! My special cocktail in collaboration with FUZZBUTT is inspired by lots of ingredients that puppies just love! And honestly, they all meshed pretty fabulously into a delicious drink. While you’re not going to want to share this drink with your fluffy BFF, at least you can be enjoying some of the same flavors! Don’t SIT on giving this one and FUZZBUTT, a try. The ‘Good Boy’ 1.5 oz FUZZBUTT Vodka .5 oz Peanut Butter Whiskey 1 oz Blueberry Syrup 6 oz Hefeweizen (I used Paulaner) Fill a tall beer glass with ice. Add FUZZBUTT vodka, peanut butter whiskey, and blueberry syrup. Top with icy cold hefeweizen. Stir gently. Garnish with some blueberries on a pick. Sit back and give your pets a good scratch on the head. #vodkadrinks  #fuzzbuttvodka  #cocktailsforacause #vodka #vodkacocktail #beercocktail

And it seems like that might finally be today! This bottle of Martingale Cognac is such a showstopper, inside and out. What a pleasure to shoot, and sip! @martingalecognac

Are you a fan of Birch Beer? If you’ve never tried it, I can tell you - you’re missing out! Birch Beer is like the mysterious and sophisticated older cousin of Root Beer. In fact, they’re very similar. Root Beer is made from the root of the Sassafras tree, and Birch Beer, well, you guessed it! But birch beer’s flavor actually comes from the sap of the birch tree, much like maple syrup! I grew up in Pennsylvania and I’ve been in love with birch beer ever since I was a little kid. They even have it on the soda fountain at one of the amusements parks we used to frequent. I have to admit though, before now I never thought to use it in a cocktail. This one came out STELLAR! I hope you’ll give it a try! Birch Beer Creamsicle 1.5 oz Rye Whiskey .5 oz Grand Marnier .75 oz Heavy Cream 6 oz Boylan Creamy Red Birch Beer (@boylanbottling ) 2 Dashes Aromatic Bitters Squeeze of Orange Chill Red Birch Beer. Combine all ingredients in a tall glass full of ice. Stir. Garnish with an orange wedge. Need to get yourself some Birch Beer? See link in my bio to grab some Boylan’s for yourself. Use code JES10 for 10% off your order! #birchbeer #redbirchbeer #birchbeercocktail #boylansoda #creamsicle
