After sorting through my spring and summer clothes, I decide to donate what didn’t fit me anymore to Tabitha’s closet! Happy to say my family even joined me in this!
I thought what better way to announce my new title, by serving! Began my reign as your Miss Buckeye State Ultimate USA, by volunteering at my favorite place! Today at @achildshopeint our group packed over 100,000 meals that will be shipped to Eswatini. Where over 1.2 million live in poverty. A generation, without parents who were lost to the HIV epidemic.

So so excited and proud for how tonight went!! My first ever time competing in the Miss Ohio USA Teen system and made top 10!! I absolutely loved everything about the pageant, and had such an amazing time!
Thanks to the village it takes every competition, whether that be my whole family cheering me on back home. Or my amazing mom for doing my HAMU, or my awesome coaches!!
-stay tuned for what’s next!
Reposting this from Joshua’s Place Page! I wrote about how I came to know Joshua’s Place, and the Impact it’s had in my life.
“Growing up, my mom was the Little Miami program director, so I was around Joshua’s Place a lot during middle school. I practically counted down the days until I was old enough to become a tutor. I prayed that whoever I was placed with was a kid that needed somebody.
“I compete in pageantry, and whenever the judges ask why I volunteer, I always tell them I do it for the girls who need a big sister—and that’s why I volunteer at Joshua’s Place. I say a lot, ‘I do it for the one. I’ve always had a heart for missions, whether that’s in another country, or right here in Ohio. Every serving opportunity, I always say, “I’m going to do this for the one.” Doing it for that one person who needs it. Doing it even if it only helps one person, because it makes a difference. Doing it so these kids know how loved they are and that God has a plan for their life. I’m more than just a tutor. I’m a friend.
“I want these kids to know that there’s someone who is there for them. I pray that their lives are changed because of Whiz Kids. That their lives will change for the better. Growing up I always had a supportive family who was there for me whenever I needed them. I want to be that support for these kids. I want to be able to brighten their day, even if it’s just for an hour a week.”
- Sophia, Little Miami Whiz Kids tutor
Since it’s DUE DAY!
I’m thrilled to announce that I will be competing for the title of Miss Ohio Teen USA, as the Miss Pleasant Plain Teen! I’ve always been so intrigued by this system, and am so excited to officially dip my feet into it! Can’t wait to hit that stage again, and meet all of the amazing women competing!

This weekend I worked on getting some cards ready to place in the women’s bathrooms at my High-school! I wanted to give some encouragement on our first day back from Spring Break!
