Thomas Stajcer this, Thomas Stajcer that. Everyone loves Thomas Stajcer. Didn’t get the chance to work with him when we recorded the full album at @fangrecording , but was “lucky” enough to get him to engineer this acoustic performance of La fenêtre, the French version of Thrown it Open. Many thanks to Thomas for his endless and exacting expertise. I will never work with him again.

We recorded a French version of Thrown it Open, translated with my pal Emmanuel Schwartz - who did such a bang up job translating Je t’ai fait tant de peine, the VF of Artefact’s Made You Mad.
Having spent so many years living in Montreal, it’s important to me to release music in French. Même si ce n’est qu’une chanson à la fois.

@joel_c_gregorio is a designer and graphic artist. He’s the founder of @stategoods which, as he puts it, is an evolving art study in nostalgia, memories, and connection.
I have had the terrifically good fortune of working with Joel on both of the @cleverhopes albums. If you have a look, on whatever your streamer of choice is, under Clever Hopes, what you’ll see is Joel’s work. He designed all the singles art, the thumbnails, the album covers. He also Art Directed the layout for my vinyl on both Artefact and New Kind of Familiar.
Bringing all those pieces to life alongside my songs has been one the greatest thrills of my artistic career.
I’ll be forever grateful for having had the opportunity to collaborate with Joel, not just once, but now twice.

Oh man, what a time down in Frisco at the @acmawards . Noah absolutely killed it with @ashleymcbryde . The whole damn thing was tops, start to finish. Love to @barbermattic for lending me his @thesaucymilliner , and big thanks to @rsherman25 for letting me top it with his freshly minted ten gallon. I’m seeing now that it may have played better in my mind than it did in real life. Classic hat on a hat situation there, I guess. Also, I play for the @dallascowboys now.
