This is Me ✨ For those who know me… you’ll know that I really am this happy. I’m authentically me every day regardless of my environment. I wear many hats & show up in each hat as my authentic self. I’m proud of every chapter of my story that has gotten me to this present moment. Want to get to know me more? Just say food is involved and I’ll happily share my story. Until then here’s what you need to know… I’m from Minnesota and knew I wanted to be a ballerina since I was 3, so my entire childhood was dance. I was fiercely determined to get everything I ever dreamed of, was the hardest worker in any room & moved away from home at 15 to NYC to reach the dream. I lived in LA from 19-26 where I discovered my love of business, travel, and the beach. In 2014 I started @resurgenceintensive which allowed me a larger platform to share my passion of teaching. In 2016 I realized my journey as a ballerina needed to be continued so I moved to Las Vegas to join Nevada Ballet Theatre. I fulfilled every dream and my heart couldn’t have been more full as I danced with the company over 6 years. In 2019 I began college at UNLV which I never thought was in the cards for a soon to be first generation graduate. Also in 2019, I was asked by Scott Pensivy “What do you want to do after dancing?” This sparked a flame that grew into @bluechipconditioning opening in conjunction with @prismphysicaltherapy . A simple question that opened the door I didn’t even consider knocking on! I started Pilates at the age of 9 with my ballet mentor @tara.foy.ballet & continued Pilates my whole life. In 2019 I became a fully certified instructor with @dkpilatesusa and in 2020 Blue Chip opened. I have had the privilege of helping so many people through the power of Pilates. After graduating from @unlv in 2021, I was honored to begin teaching in the dance department as a Visiting Professor In 2023 Blue Chip moved into its current beautiful location and I was certified as a Master Trainer for @dkpilatesusa . I now host Pilates certifications where I can teach & inspire the next generation of teachers. I love what I do and I’m grateful to say “I’ve never had to “work” a day in my life” 💕

Looking to increase your flexibility? Let’s talk about the power of stretching and how it can transform your well-being! 🌟 Stretching isn’t just a pre- or post-workout routine; it’s a key practice that enhances flexibility, improves circulation, and reduces muscle tension. One of the incredible benefits of stretching is its ability to alleviate back pain by targeting areas like the hamstrings. Hamstring flexibility plays a crucial role in spinal health. When these muscles are tight, they can pull on the pelvis, contributing to poor posture and putting strain on the lower back. Regular stretching of the hamstrings helps to lengthen these muscles, which in turn relieves tension on the lower back and promotes better alignment of the spine. This can lead to reduced discomfort and a greater range of motion, making everyday movements feel smoother and more comfortable. Moreover, stretching promotes blood flow to the muscles, delivering essential nutrients and oxygen that aid in recovery and overall muscle health. Improved circulation also supports better tissue elasticity, reducing the risk of injuries that can result from tight muscles. Whether you’re sitting at a desk all day or engaging in intense physical activity, incorporating stretching into your routine can make a significant difference in how your body feels and functions. So, next time you’re winding down after a workout or taking a break during your day, remember to dedicate a few minutes to stretching. Your body will thank you for the care and attention, and you’ll enjoy the benefits of improved flexibility, reduced back pain, and a greater sense of well-being. Embrace the stretch—it’s a small investment with big returns for your health! We offer stretch during our private Pilates sessions as well as just a full stretch session for those interested in just that.
