My silk (which primarily comes from India and China) dress by @urbanmodesty1 represents the struggles of people who look like me as well as the ongoing suffering of the Uighur Muslims. Words I never thought I'd say! But here it is. I'm so proud of what we've created here!
Crazy thing is? @simuliu put me up to it! Ever since I told him about my campaign for inclusion, he's led me into phenomenal experiences that are huge steps towards achieving it! It helps that both of us agree that accurate and authentic Asian American stories need to be told. So here's an authentic story for you: once upon a time there was a South Asian American girl who supported an Asian American icon and he noticed. He then gave her a chance and some coaching later…look boss: I'm in a Google Pixel commercial!
While we had some artistic license with this script, I can tell you what was definitely inspired by real life: I use Google Assistant constantly! Not only does it help with its hands free voice command feature, but the "hey Google" has also saved me hours of research time with answers right on my wrist! Not to mention all of the other cool features it has that you'll need to watch the commercial to learn about!

@myladyjaneonprime is this historical fiction fan’s dream series! I grew up reading similar retellings such as the Royal Diaries books and I’m hooked on this show. We got to watch the first two episodes and they are GOT meets Bridgerton in the best ways possible! And it’s so steamy and definitely riddled with adult themes. Each character is very well played by each actor and @emily_bader shines as Jane. The sets and costumes are truly regal. Highly recommend binging it! The entire first season is streaming now only on @primevideo .
