This year has been the absolute best and a real dream come true. I cant express how grateful I am to have had this opportunity to represent teens across the country this year. All the outpouring love and support has been amazing and I hope I have made you all proud❤️

Just about 2 months until I give up my title and I can’t help but reflect on this unforgettable year. The biggest highlights of this year have hands down been all of my appearances and volunteer service opportunities! Even though things changed from in person to virtual half way through my reign, I stayed book + busy thanks to my incredible sponsor @pageantrelations ✨

Check out this video that they created for me that is attached to my media kit when booking appearances! I can’t help but get emotional watching this because of what it means to me. When I started pageantry back in 2007, I had no idea that I’d be able to make such an incredible impact in my community. This video sums up the entire reason I decided to continue my pageant journey over the past 13 years! 👸🏾 thank you @pageantrelations and @nationalamericanmiss for the opportunity to turn my dreams into reality! ☁️

The second episode of the Use Your Voice series stars Maranda Saltzman! Maranda is your 2019 National American Miss Nebraska Teen and is passionate about helping students learn their values and inspiring them with her own bullying story with her platform YouMatter! Maranda states, “My experience of being bullied in middle school caused me to struggle with insecurities and I didn’t believe that my life mattered anymore. It took me years after to learn how to love myself for who I am and to believe that my life has a purpose. That is why I started my organization, YouMatter when I graduated Highschool. Since then I have spoken to over a thousand students in my community, sharing my story and helping them understand the value that they each carry!! It’s my life goal to make every person I encounter know that they matter in this world and that’s what my organization does.” 💗

First episode of the Use Your Voice series starts with Shali King! Shali is your 2019 National American Miss Georgia Teen and is passionate about raising awareness and acceptance for Down Syndrome! She states, “I created my platform and I have been living my platform for 18 years now because I have a twin brother, Jake, who has Down Syndrome. My platform focuses on changing the perspective of others on their view of people with Down Syndrome and helping to teach people house to replace their obstacles with opportunities. It’s about valuing others for who they are and what they CAN do.” 💙💛
