I’ll be releasing a live album SOON, and in celebration of that, I’ll be playing 3 shows in California. I’m very psyched to be playing my FAVORITE rock club in THE WORLD: @thetroubadour - this will be a chance to see this band, @packylundholm @joe_dart @jordanrosedrums @davemackaymusic , in an intimate setting, since our last LA play was at The Wiltern. Since shaving my head, I’ve been mistakenly recognized as Jason Statham on 4 separate occasions…and tonight I’ll be doing a last minute solo performance, opening for my good friend @allenstone at @sectionlive in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I love Al and his band and crew, this will be fun! #FalsettoStatham

Very psyched to say that the new @netflix animated film “Thelma the Unicorn” comes out today, featuring the song “Fire Inside”, which I wrote with my brother @reallouiscato , and which *Brittany Howard* @blackfootwhitefoot sings in the movie. It’s a dream come true to get to write for a singer like Brittany, and because I personally share the same dream as Thelma the Unicorn, when I first sat down to write for Thelma, I just wrote to myself. That was the guiding principle that @reallouiscato and I followed throughout the writing process. I’m very happy that this has come to be, and I hope the kids and parents and babysitters alike all enjoy it ❤️❤️

In the summer of 2022, as I was gearing up to record my album “Be The Wheel,” Netflix reached out to me about possibly writing some music for some of their animated projects. When I heard there was a chance to write a song for @blackfootwhitefoot to sing, I felt a strong “yes.” The way the timing worked out, I got the Netflix call a few days before I was leaving for my first retreat with @iceman_hof . I got back from the retreat, read the writing prompt, and immediately started writing a song about my own experience in the Wim Hof retreat: finding the light inside myself. I brought the song to my brother @reallouiscato and together we wrote “The Fire Inside.” @mikeelizondojr produced the track, Brittany smashed the vocal (duhhhhhhhhhh), and I’m so happy to know that Thelma the Unicorn is gonna be singing this song to kids all over the world this summer. Every single one of us has a light inside. May we let it shine! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

VERY excited to be bringing my music to @whalerockmusicfestival at Castoro Cellars, Paso Robles, CA on 9/14! I’ve been hearing only the best things about this festival for years. @vulfpeck is also playing (9/15), so it’ll be double trouble extra fun time for me and Joe this weekend. Let’s rock!!! Fredrikstad, Norway (March 9, 2024) I will never get over arriving in a new city in a foreign country and having people sing the words to these songs. These UK crowds have been so dynamic — rocking with us all the way, and listening alllllll the way down to total silence. My favorite. You all have inspired me so much - I feel open and alive and more excited than ever for music and human connection. I thank you with my whole heart.
