I couldn’t have asked or dreamed of a better Christmas! So blessed to have spent this Christmas with my beautiful and loving family. This was my first Christmas back in TJ since coming to the US( over a decade ago). And not only did I get to be home but I got to experience this all thanks to the love of my life!!!

HAPPY TRANS AWARENESS WEEK!
Did you know that I too am a trans gender? Well now you do!
All joking aside this year has been incredibly difficult yet the best year yet! With all the anti trans and anti drag legislation that is being proposed and passed across the country I am choosing to focus on celebrating our trans communities. I’m excited to be performing over the next couple weekend numbers dedicated to our community, for our trans ancestors, our living trans siblings and the lil trans babies to come.

@wearefluidsf began as an idea from @mx.justshannon and JoJo Ty – the idea to create a space where all of our intersectional identities were not only represented but celebrated. Guided by our ancestors, we believed in the power of community. Built from a labor of love by myself, @flan.daddy , Jojo, and @mx.justshannon , we knew we were creating something that would shake up the industry.
Our groundbreaking achievements have created a new model of what a coffee shop can be.
Though we were just a pop-up, the impact we had expanded the minds of those who bought a cup of coffee. Our presence created a safe haven for trans and queer people to stop and enjoy life without fear of judgment or violence.
From our menu that served high-quality coffee along with the flavors of our cultures to the events we hosted created to uplift our community, Fluid was and will forever be "by us, for all." We will forever be filled with great gratitude for anyone who stepped into our little space at 332 Golden Gate Ave.
For now, Fluid will go dormant as we rush to find a new home. We will undergo a rebirth while we look at how to better serve all of you, and we can't wait to get back to serving you those delicious Fluids. 🤍
