Therefore, the spirit of rebellion was probably derived from my resistance towards the establishment. It was that rebel within me that resisted unworthy authority; that kind which has inbuilt injustice. Let’s remember that; it’s not just authority, it’s about injustice.” Yusuf
On Monday evening, Yusuf attended
@theothersongs Live at the London Palladium along with Bernie Taupin, Max Richter and
@tompeterodell - who joined him on stage for a duet of ‘Father and Son’. Yusuf preluded it with a commentary about the song. The Other Songs celebrates the most distinguished living songwriters as well as the new generation of artists, with all proceeds going to charities that support emerging talent.
