“When bees are endangered, rythmes are endangered, life is endangered, love is endangered” 🐝
We travel with photographer Martin Bruno (
@martinbrunophoto ) and writer Emilie Cresp (
@emiliecresp ) to Camili, a village located in the Black Sea Mountains in Turkey, at the border with Georgia. This place is home to one of the most important bee species in the world: the Caucasian bee. They can extract nectar from the deepest nectar tissues, where no other honey bees can. This, along with the untouched quality of the local forest ecosystem, makes the honey produced in this region some of the best in the world. The trees feel intense and ancient. They whisper and hold the memory, they embrace and console.
