It was always a dream - although at times it felt like an unattainable fantasy. For the first time in so many years of renting, we got the opportunity to hang up pictures on the wall. The first thought that crossed my mind was - my very own gallery wall!
I spent the following days measuring the walls and scanning my plethora of images. Days passed and then it was a week later - it was exhausting!
"It shouldn't be that difficult, after all it's always been my dream to do this", I cried!
I thought it's best to take a little break - I closed my eyes and thought to myself, what is it that I really want! I realised I was chasing perfection. Taking a step back I thought to myself - which are my most favourite images - and in a jiffy there they were! My favourite six!
To describe what I feel in one word - I would say - it's "surreal". Right from the time I picked the images from the printer to the time they are on the wall - it's surreal!
Each time I enter the room, to the time I work on my desk - it's absolutely and enchantingly surreal! Well, dreams do come true, innit?
