Our Tastes of WildLuing with @thewildcooke foraging weekend is upon us and we are gearing up for it in August. If you have wanted to learn more about foraging sustainably on a Scottish island or want to enjoy a relaxed weekend away with friends or family this might be the one for you! What better way to introduce you to the weekend than a brief introduction to our amazing forager Lucy aka @thewildcooke . Lucy resides local to the Oban area and runs regular foraging workshops. Lucy has spent the last couple of years developing a successful foraging business in the Highlands as The Wild Cooke. She takes her guests on nature walks in the local environment finishing the experience with a magical wild food banquet. Our Tastes of WildLuing with The Wild Cooke weekend 9-11th August includes 2 nights luxury accommodation in a WildSuite for 2 people, a homemade breakfast hamper for the weekend, basic BBQ pack for your Friday evening, a foraging walk here at WildLuing Saturday, followed by a light lunch including some of our foraged finds, a ‘Drink like a Forager’ afternoon wild cocktail session and a local produce feast in the evening. A ticket for 2 people is £570 (£285 per person) on our website. Cake cake cake 🎂 🥮 🍥 🥞 Rose and white chocolate ganache three layer bonanza- this beast deserves its own post. Decorated with roses, strawberry, blaeberry and heather. Fear not my friend- you can do this at home. Swipe --> to see the absolutely shocking attempt at ganache around the sides 😂😂😂. This reminds me of those memes when people try copying a cake at home and it's hilarious and awful 😖 😱 😂😂😂. It's OK though because it tasted good and look great from the top! 😆😆👍🙌
