Supersets can be a very useful tool when pushed for time!
Now are they better for building muscle than doing the exercises individually? No they’re slightly less effective but there isn’t a huge difference.
Sometimes we have to work training around schedule rather than scheduling around training and it’s a very minimal difference so can still make great improvements by condensing workouts with supersets.

Get the most quad development by focusing on knee flexion not foot position
Foot position is not the crucial factor, maximum knee flexion is!!
If like me you’re old, broken and immobile you may need to adapt movements slightly, generally low feet makes for more knee flexion but this is not the case for everyone! Find a spot where you can get the most bend in your knees and lengthen the quads as much as possible to get the most quad development
Also don’t neglect your leg extensions as it works all 4 heads where squats only work 3
