In June of 2021 I had this nutty idea that even though I had zero knowledge or experience, I was going to start making ceramic tiki lamps. Two years later and I have made and sold over 600 lamps!! It's completely insane. I wanted to take a minute and send out a huge mahalo to everyone who has one by making this reel with some of the lamp photos people have sent me over the last two years. Thank you all, it really means the world. The second half of this year I'll be transitioning to making more mugs than lamps and I'm pretty excited about it. New site and project updates:
TikiClassics.com has been given a complete overhaul and is now the only online availability for all @katikimugs products 🥳 There are only a few in-stock products currently available and no pre-order mugs are currently planned. Inventory is almost zero, so grab what you can while you still can!
The replacement gold Aku Aku mugs will be in stock soon (some were damaged during the first shipment and had to be tossed 🤬) along with a few more of the matte brown Castaways No.1 mugs. Sales on both of those mugs will be announced the minute I have them in hand.
I will also have the Tiki Bob's bucket mugs coming soon, hopefully around the end of summer. No pre-sales on those as they will be hand glazed by me and sold only when completed and ready to ship. I'm super excited to play around with the glazes on those, it's really gonna be a super fun project.
If you have a Mystery of the Moai bowl ordered, please check your email and spam folder for an important video update. If you've already watched the video, the results of that video will be coming this week.
Extra Rotten Bobs are near completion. Some will ship out mid-week, the rest will be done before the end of July.

Great mail day! Just got this sweeeeet lamp by @els_tropical_lighting 🥳 My wife loved the triple drum style lamp she made for the Mai Kai so I had her make a similar one as a surprise. She loves it 😍 It will hang proudly in our newly redesigned tiki space. For now it hangs here, on a white ceiling, just waiting for it's new home. We can't wait to get it done so we can display it properly 😎🤙
Big shoutout to @vegasjimmy_otbp@columbia.house.memories and the @raiders for the invite to tour the headquarters and training facilities. I'm a DIEHARD Bears fan, but still amazing to see behind the scenes on a NFL teams whole process. From the meeting rooms, lockers, the weight room to throwing some dimes on the indoor practice field, it was all pretty amazing stuff 😎🤙🏈
