This is Adriane Grzadziel. She is one of the stars of Adrian Goiginger‘s THE FOX, and for reasons I will never truly know, she agreed to star in two of my films. Adriane (and her co-star Leo Pallua) just helped me win an Outstanding Achievement Award for a Horror Short for my short film DADDY at the LA INDIE SHORT FILMFESTIVAL!
Working with her was amazing, every day. I cried at rehearsal when Adriane and Leo did their most emotional scene. She went deep. To this day I cannot forgive myself for cutting an emotional close up of hers from the title sequence.

Daddy is going out to festivals… And the first reactions are in! We’re nominated in three categories at the prestigious LA in the short film festival. Thanks to my marvelous crew, my awesome actress, and especially to Lukas Kronsteiner @kronsteinerlukas and Jan Morgenstern, who have been nominated for best cinematography, and best score, respectively. I’ll keep you posted. Fingers crossed!

This was fun! Great to be at the #austrianfilmaward yesterday. I couldn't attend when ROTZBUB, where I lead the story team won for biggest box office in 2022 - but attending yesterday made my night. Congratulations to all the winders, and especially to @angelikakropej who won Best Casting and has been my partner for finding the right cast for more than 20 years. OK - back to writing, I guess....
