✨Countdown to the Crown✨ 👑 Day Ten: Charity I Would Donate to if I Win People’s Choice Two organizations I would donate to if I win the People’s Choice Award would be the @fredfoodva and @angelridesfxbg . 1️⃣: The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank has started an incredible mission that aligns with my mission to spread HEALTH to the community by offering classes and education on healthy habits, proper nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle. This type of education is so urgent for the public, as currently 74% of people globally will die prematurely due to a preventative illness or disease (due to obesity and habits of disease) (credit: WHO). The @fredfoodva is working to ensure no matter what your economic status is, you have access to proper nutrition and education about health & wellness. 2️⃣: The second non-profit I would donate to is The Hope Foundation (THF), part of @angelridesfxbg . THF is working to make transportation to doctors and critical care appointments more cost effective for seniors, those with limiting health conditions and those who are needing multiple life-saving doctor appointments every week. I’m a proud wife to my husband, Cameron, and we are raising 3️⃣ elementary-aged girls, FULL of personality, here in northern Virginia. 🎀 I am a full time health coach whose pies get raving reviews, 😏🥧 social media manager, 📲 up & coming podcast host (talking with business owners about how they incorporate their faith with their business), 🎙️ mentor to tween girls, 💛 and photographer (when I need creative outlet). 📷 I’m a writer and speaker, with a degree in Communications and a background in television, marketing and PR. ✨Countdown to the Crown✨ 👑 Day Eight: Pageant Prep Tips Here’s my TOP 3️⃣ TIPS for prepping for the national stage (or any event you may have coming up): ✅ Nothing you prep or pack matters if you’re not clear on who you are, whose you are, and what you bring to the table. Mindset is key. 🔑 ✅ Take GOOD care of yourself. You will not be able to compete or serve at a higher level if your battery is drained and you’re running on fumes. HYDRATE, focus on proper nutrition, SLEEP, stand up & MOVE your body (even if it’s just for 10 minutes), put your phone away (scrolling DOES NOT help your mental state), ask for help, express your feelings (on paper or with a trusted friend), go for a relaxing spa treatment (my facials & IV vitamin infusions from @revivemedaesthetics have been so life-giving, for all my locals), and get some fresh air in your lungs. There is time to get into “GO” mode, but you cannot pour from an empty cup. Fill up, friend. ✅ On a more practical note - make a list and check it twice! 📝 Get your packing list and schedule out in front of you ahead of time so you are not scrambling in the last 24 hours before your competition or event. ❌ Above all, don’t forget to take a step back and express GRATITUDE for the opportunity to live a DREAM, make some FRIENDS, and have FUN!
