Growing up in the rugged outdoors, I’ve been so fortunate to have parents who, without hesitation, raised me in a male-dominated sport. I grew up in the public eye learning the ropes of hunting and conservation, and achieving big milestones that have proven GIRLS are just as capable outdoors as the boys. My father and I have inspired countless hunters to invite their girls on a hunt for the first time, and I’m beyond humbled that some outdoors parents have even named their girls after me. I learned at an early age that there’s a great responsibility with being in a position to influence others, and my parents have raised me to be a leader, paving the way for other amazing girls in the outdoors.
On the FLIP SIDE, literally, I also adore all things that elevate our femininity - the glitz, the glam, the gowns, the runway. I am a fashion model and a pageant queen, and I wouldn’t trade this huge part of my life for the world. I spend the year traveling to model in Fashion Weeks, attending auditions and castings, and participating in the ultimate sisterhood that IS pageantry. I embrace the girliest of girly life and am forever grateful that I have so many glamorous opportunities that empower females.
My Crown with a Cause is simple: Break Down Biases for Girls. We are strong and capable of ANYthing we put our minds to. Girls, never be afraid to break into new territory - and never let anyone tell you can’t! Do whatever it is that makes you feel like the fullest version of yourself, and take joy in tearing down any gender stereotypes that get in the way. I can’t tell you how many mornings I wake up to hunt, and drive straight to modeling in the afternoons. How many times I’m washing dirt out of my nails to climb in a pageant gown. And all of it feels equally like Me. Girls, you can do ANYTHING.
