We have a big big Thank You going out tonight to Mars Petcare US Pedigree US and Williamson County Animal Center for bring us 70 foster kits that will help us save more animal lives here in Maury County. One (of many) important goals of Kim Plachta Raffauf our director is to look into how we can implement a more robust foster program. We have had such overwhelming success so far this year with our kitten foster program that we are putting serious thought into how best to expand our foster program and these kits will make a huge difference in the success of our program going forward. We appreciate our friendship with WCAC who delivered the kits to us today. Their advice is so appreciated ❤️

What a quarter! 🎉 Our team has embraced AI and chosen resilience at our Lunch & Learns, welcomed new talent this summer, connected across our locations at our Networking Happy Hours, played hard, and served our communities. We can't wait to see what Q3 will bring! #DominionPayroll #BestPlacestoWork #Success

Well, we’ve had a LOT of excitement over the past few weeks! Some of y’all may have seen my post last week about a volunteer day at a nearby shelter. Many of you were shocked that I managed to come home empty handed. And while I DID come home empty handed, we returned the next day and adopted Lil’ Debbie! While we LOVE her shelter name, it was quite a mouthful, so we’ve renamed her to Reagan. Regan was brought in as a stray with a collar, but no tags and no microchip on June 11. While the shelter did everything they could to reunite her with her people, they were unsuccessful. Reagan is a healthy pup. We believe she is a border collie / Pyrenees mix who is between 2-4 years old. She is incredibly smart - she knows sit, stay, here, drop it, leave it, kennel up, and let’s go to work (her cue to join me in the office). While she doesn’t mind car rides, she does not like getting in and out of the truck. She initially was terrified of walking through door frames, but that has subsided. She is unbelievably sweet…which is punctuated by a perfect little pink heart on the top of her nose. I believed it’s just another little ‘wink’ from our pets that are no longer with us today that Reagan was meant to join our family and fill OUR hearts once again. Reagan is doing well with the kitties - showing a healthy curiosity, but not attacking them. However, she is still in a probabtion period where she is not allowed free and unsupervised reign of the house if we aren’t here. The kitties are taking her in stride - it has been the biggest adjustment for Hawkeye - we don’t think he’d ever seen a dog before! Over this past week Reagan has settled into a new routine with our family and she has nuzzled her way into our hearts. On Saturday she was introduced to several friends and met her grandparents at Hawkeye’s birthday party - and she behaved perfectly. We are so incredibly thankful to Williamson County Animal Center for loving and caring for her until we found each other. And with that…let me introduce Reagan Adams! ❤️🐾 #presidentmisspriss

PLEASE SHARE! This lovable senior is the ultimate couch potato. 🥔 Meet Koda, a 7-year-old mixed breed who is currently available for adoption at the @wcanimalcenter in Franklin, TN. If you live for lazy days, Koda is your girl. She is adorably low-energy and would rather nap the day away than embark on grand adventures. Despite her love for lounging, Koda is a true social butterfly when it comes to her human friends. Koda adores being the star of the show and is searching for a single pet home where she can truly shine. Is it yours? Click our link in bio to fill out an adoption application for Koda today! #adoptdontshop #adopt #rescuedog #doglover

Today at the Central Region Roundup Readiness Day, 4-H members were able to learn about this year’s Tennessee 4-H Roundup at the University of Tennessee at Martin. It was a very successful event, with many new All Star initiates and 61 items donated to the Williamson County Animal Center. Thank you @williamsoncountyextension for allowing us to have Readiness Day at your UT Extension office. Our Central Region All Star officer team has worked hard these past few months, and they look to continue their good work! 🍀 #centralregion4hallstars
