What an evening. Walking around @longhollowgardens amongst the wildflowers and hydrangeas never disappoints. This venue exudes calmness as do these two. Can’t wait for their wedding this fall.
Those eyes!
Meeting these two was a delight. Their engagement was natural and easy. I’m so thankful for the amazing couples we have ❤️ Can’t wait for their @cjsoffthesquare wedding!
Such a reflective moment. The bride’s parents sat and watched, taking the whole day in. I could see myself sitting there, playing back time and watching the movie up until this point.
It’s easy to form checklists in your mind as a photographer. With social media dictating to couples what’s “important” on their wedding day we often see couples wanting “this shot” or “that shot.” I’m thankful when couples don’t have a prescribed shot list and let Tommy and I freely photograph their day. We get to witness many of the in-between moments on wedding days; the whispers exchanged amidst the chaos, the stolen glances that speak volumes, and the quiet gestures that often go unnoticed.
In the excitement of celebration, it's these subtle instances that truly capture the emotions from a wedding day. They carry a depth of emotion that you don’t always see in standard portraits. Though portraits are a definite must on wedding day, there is beauty in the simple moments. So here’s a post for the simple moments.
