Here’s a photo of one of the many times my Dad changed my life for the better. When I was in high school my parents asked me what I wanted for graduation and I said “I want to do EasyRider across the country with Dad”. At the time my Dad was a busy and stressed corporate lawyer who never took a single day off work as he believed supporting his family was his number goal. But he also recognized the importance of parenting and so, he took over a month off work and we rode motorcycles together across the USA. It one of the many experiences with him that have made me who I am today. I got to know him a way that felt real and authentic. We created a bond that has lasted a lifetime. I am so grateful for my Dad and am hope to share the same kind of passion, exploration, and love with my own daughter. There’s no better way to learn but by example. Happy Fathers Day Big Papa! And sorry I wish there were more photos of him but as you can see I was going through a psychedelic period of my life at the time and I wasn’t spending too much time with a camera…
Having the best Father’s Day trying to get Poppy to smile taking one photo with me… love to all the Dads out there and thanks to all the Moms for giving us the greatest gift in life!
This young woman is my hero. There is nobody braver, stronger, and kinder than her. She’s a poet, a champion equestrian, and now a high school graduate. Congrats @frankieruane.eq - the future is yours!!!!
Happy Mothers Day to the best mom & grandma in the world. We are all so lucky to have your love and support. And I’m especially grateful for all you do for me and Poppy!
