Wowza! Craspedia is starting to crank in the high tunnel. We had a banner year three years ago and have been chasing that unicorn ever since. Super excited to see them shine once again! ✨
Well, hello Helipterum Pierrot Red! Such a little cutie that adds that nice pop of color, bounce and texture. It’s also a great addition to bud vases since it’s delightfully petite!
The rich bold hues of indigo blue against orange make an incredible statement for any wedding. This “Find Your Seat” display was a last minute idea brought into the mix for N+M’s wedding that ended up being one of my favorite elements! The display featured an assortment of single-variety vases including poppies, delphinium, tulips, ranunculus, matricaria, and centaurea and created the perfect blend with the natural beauty of The Preserve. We always love working with lovely couples who value and appreciate local flowers and color!
While we were all cooking the last few days, we had to take extra measures to bring the temps down in the high tunnel. We purchased the shade cloth last season and just because we did so, no one had to deal with a heat wave…because that’s the way things work in the farming world. If you’re prepared, nothing happens! But, all jokes aside, we were certainly thankful this week, as temps soared.
Can’t wait for M+N’s wedding day! Everything is blooming at just the right time and we are LOVING their color palette! Just a couple varieties that will be making their way into this weekend’s designs!
Matricaria is bursting at the seams in the tunnel and looking amazing! Their sweet white flowers with the slightest hint of yellow make any bouquet that much better.
