OCTOBER 💀 - it’s been a while since we’ve posted! But we’ve been hard at work finalizing our new food menu (arriving quietly this week) and working on our new beverage menu.
Over the past six months we’ve taken a lot of our guest feedback and will be implementing more positive changes for the last half of this year.
We will be adding lighter dishes to our menu and more seafood options. We will be adding more a more robust Non-alcoholic beverages and more classic Tiki cocktails as well as some modern riffs.
We are actively hiring a new manager who’s role will be to enhance guest experiences and improve employee quality of life and training. So we can make sure we create an even warmer and more relaxing environment for everyone.
We will be bringing new mugs and both food and beverage specials for our Halloween (👻 Feast of Hingry Ghosts)and Christmas (Wusong Wonderland) pop up’s. We will also be investing more on decor and immersion for both pop-ups.
With many requests of catering we will begin offering a robust catering menu with custom Bao and a more robust dessert and pastry offering.
We just recently also hired a Pastry Chef to also help us create a more thoughtful and full meal service for you to enjoy your stay with us.
For Decor we are upgrading much of our tropical foliage and we will be adding specialty lighting throughout the remainder of the year. We will also be finalizing our patio and introducing a better laid out retail on our ground level for collectors to peruse tiki mugs and merch!
Thank you all for staying with us these past two and one half years, we hope to bring you much more fun in the years to come!

COLLAB 💀 - we are so excited to be working with @taboo_and_company to bring you another art piece for our tiki bar. This multi piece sculpture will become one of our new focal points in our first floor bar for our Feast of Hingry Ghosts festival in October!
This year our goal is really to bring you all a fun and exciting experience for both our Geasy of Hingry Ghosts Festival and Wusong Winter Wonderland pop-ups.
So that’s right we’re already planning and prepping now, is there anything you’d like to see in particular? Costume competitions? Gingerbread decorating Tiki Hit competition? Let us know below 👇!
PATIO NEWS 🏖️ - many of you have been asking when will be able to provide outdoor seating so you can enjoy frozen piña coladas 🥥 and Mai Tais alfresco.
We’ve been holding off because we did not want to temporarily install a few umbrellas and black iron tables. One of the hardest things for us has been trying to develop an immersive space for you to enjoy—when our patio is stuck between a parking garage and a bus station 🚉.
After a lot of design work, working with the City of Cambridge DPW, Cambridge Fire Department, Inspectional Services and the License Commission on acquiring space on the City sidewalk (albeit small). We have drawn up plans we hope you will be happy to enjoy a Mai Tai on our intimate patio space.
We’ve secured windfall old growth Sequoia from the Northwest (I.e not cut down, but from either naturally falling or from urban lumber). Sequoia is most expensive wood in the world for construction ($16k per cubic meter), but it is the most rot and decay resistant wood, incredibly sturdy and will hold up to New England winters—while naturally aging to that grey “Cape Cod” feel (something we thought would be cool to see—a Cape Cod looking tiki bar).
The Tiki Bar will be covered in fire resistant Viro reed thatch from San Diego and had custom carved palm tikis in the Marquesan style carved (still drying in our lobby for the past month). To keep everyone cool we’ve also invested in water resistant outdoor rated fans as well.
We understand that most restaurants have had their patios up for over a month for you all to enjoy and we apologize for the delay on our end. But rest assured we are working hard to bring you an outdoor space soon! So please bear with us!
