Presented on behalf of the President of the United States, this award honors 20 graduating high school seniors each year, recognized for their academic and artistic accomplishments, demonstrated leadership, community service and outreach initiatives, and overall creativity. We are thrilled to celebrate these incredible young artists 👏👏👏
Congratulations to the entire class of 161 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars, receiving one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students, and marking the 60th anniversary of the U.S. Presidential Scholars program.

Each month, YoungArts gives $25,000 to artists to kickstart creative projects and opportunities. In August 2023, @actressjordanrice (2020 Theater) received a $1,000 Microgrant from YoungArts to create a proof of concept for her film, “Framed.” To date, more than 150 artists have received creative microgrants in the 2023-24 season.
