With popular queer spaces on 4th Street under threat of closure, many in Austin’s queer community are wondering if they are being pushed out of the city like other marginalized communities before them. I NEED SPACE aims to preserve Austin’s queer history and to document the current queer nightlife scene, highlighting how it important it is for marginalized communities to have spaces to gather.
