It also took 1st place in the 2023-2024 CVMA season in the American Twins class. All of that was still on stock suspension. Only mods were the exhaust and the newer generation 17” wheels.
Since its had the Penske rear shock, and only now the Lloydz tune! Stoked to see what else comes of this machine! Thanks for rocking our system on it!!

So I have a handful of race reports to catch up on over the next few days and a huge list of thank you's for everyone's support with helping me this CVMA Season. In my last race of the last round I rode the Bags off my bike. Not just figuratively but literally! Hahaa Good Thing @blackwidowcreationss makes such strong Carbon Fiber it held up to me Dragging it through the final lap of the season, reaching speeds 100mph+ with only grinding a hole in it. Sacrifices always have to be made when chasing the championship; apparently in this race the Bag was not secured but the points were!

CMVA Round 6: “I should rename my GSXR the Dark Phoenix…”
There wasn’t much to say last year after Round 3 in December other than, “I crashed, I’m ok, we are going on vacation.” The Dark Stallion sat, neglected for almost three months until I pulled my head out of my ass and decided it was time to literally and figuratively get back on the horse.
To say this season has not gone as I expected it to is a massive understatement. Round 1 gnarly crash, Round 2 recovery, Round 3 fast crash off the back straight into T11 and then missed January and February.
Thus we rose from the ashes of defeat in 2023 and here we are thanks to @reactive_parts@evoltechnology@lvcycletech@neutronjenkins and @hustlehard_racing
I wish there was more room for the Epic Race Novel I just wrote…It was a great weekend back racing with new riders and making new friends. I am so thankful for my Teammates and honored to share the track with incredible people. Shoutout to my boy @redloboracing222 for his Shootout Podium finish and @racer_693 for popping his Rain Race cherry.

A very very late rd 3 cvma race update from December. Early December I had Abdominal Hernia Surgery and was told to take a very long hiatus from riding to allow for recovery but the racer in me couldn't say no to gridding up but my bike did hahaha. I stripped the bike down to try and make it as light as possible and minimize costs if there was a mishap. Saturday morning in Qualifying my bike began to have issues again came in after only getting 1 hot lap in and tried to make repairs then had some fun battles in RACE 1 on Saturday but unfortunately on the 4th lap I had to exit track and take the DNF as my bikes problems were only getting worse. Then my coach and good friend @zedex_tenahr let me take his Indian FTR out for a race on Sunday at this point physically I was drained and I went and finished 4th and got some points, so overall mission successful. It's only been getting better since! Thank you to everyone who helped me survive the weekend and my wife for being a reluctant support system for me.
CVMA Round 3 was a blast. Such a great club and huge talent pool to compete with. Learning CW was tricky but I got down to 1:49.056 and kept her shinny all weekend. Hopefully I can be back in January with a new bike to learn.
