Pablo Tórrez Sahonero hails from the Bolivian Andes-Amazon region. From a very young age, he was motivated to create and imagine. The innate artistic stimulation from his mother, father, and siblings made it easier for him to explore his early creativity. He always had access to photography and filming cameras, as well as computers, which, in those years around 1995, were not easy to come by in Oruro, a small city in the Bolivian highlands where he grew up and was able to access university studies. This was an important foundation for fusing art with knowledge.
At the early age of 14, he began to travel and expand his vision of the world around us, thus getting to know various cultures and indigenous peoples. All these journeys are reflected in different practices, in his own life, and in audiovisual projects where he shows the essence of all the artistic and cultural knowledge he brings from his origins.
"ES ESPEJO DE PABLO" is one of his purely visual projects. In his presentations as a VJ and as a content creator for video mapping, he shows the visual force of nature, psychedelic visuals that depict the ancestry of the world's indigenous cultures, and graphic representations of sacred geometry that underpin his beliefs about the earth.
With this visual project, he has been able to showcase his visual and video mapping art at various parties, events, and festivals in countries such as Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay. He currently works at the Universo Paralello Visual Laboratory in Brazil for three consecutive editions. In Uruguay, he works and is a member of the VJ and visual creation company Visualarte.
