Today commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Today we celebrate Mexican resistance to foreign powers and Mexican culture/heritage.
Feel so blessed to be Latina. Amo mi cultura, my people, la raza. I love being Mexican American. So proud to have been raised in a border town, so in touch with the culture and essence of what it means to be Latino. ¡Que viva México cabrones!
