During the February earthquake in Turkey last year, rescue teams wrote "ses yok" on the collapsed buildings, meaning that no one survived in this building. Today, the voices of Syrians in Turkey are also silent. Big prison. No sound. Join the campaign in hopes that the voice will be heard.

I am so happy and deeply honored to be a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the documentary branch. As a Syrian refugee female filmmaker to achieve this, it feels like a big step for me personally and for our community.
My journey has been full of challenges, but also amazing support and kindness from so many wonderful people. Their belief in me and my work has given me strength and inspiration, allowing me to tell important stories from Syria and the world.
I am very grateful to everyone who has supported me. Your generosity has shown me how important it is to support others. I want to open doors for more filmmakers like me, who bring unique and powerful stories to the world. I hope to give back the same support I have received, helping others to follow their dreams and have their voices heard.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has believed in me. Together, let’s continue to push boundaries and create a more inclusive and compassionate world through films.
