We have another stray we need help locating the owner. Found at 1800 Mallory Lane in #Brentwoodtn . Y’all please bring your pets inside at dusk. Get those walks in now. When it gets dark, turn up the tv, give them something yummy to enjoy. Westhaven and Fairview have larger shows happening tonight. Enjoy the show, but please leave your pets at home. Area shelters are full. WCAC will be closed for the 4th of July, but will reopen on Friday at 10am.

@westhavenslc residents, this cat (with a collar, but no tag) was brought in to us. Found on Addison Avenue. If this kitty belongs to you, please reclaim before 6pm. We will be closed on the 4th and will reopen FRIDAY at 10am. With tonight’s big fireworks show in Westhaven and @cityoffairviewtn , please please please bring your pets inside tonight. Don’t bring them to fireworks displays. Our shelter is already very full. More pets run away from home around the 4th of July than any other holiday.

Mr. Marino (7 yrs) everyone’s favorite distinguished gentleman would like everyone to know he has been promoted and is now working the front desk! He’s the best boy and is eager to help process his own adoption application. Senior dogs make the best office companions. Learn more about him and all our adoptable pets (link in bio).

Meet the newest adoptable pets of Williamson County Animal Center! 62 pets await loving homes at our center and 10 more are in foster homes. Our shelter is very full of large dogs and we want to ask for your support. If you own a dog, please keep them safely indoors after dusk the next few days. Make sure they are wearing collars WITH identification. We'll even microchip your cat or dog for $15 between the hours of 10am-4pm during the week (except the 4th of July, when we are closed). We want to ask those who are considering adding a pet to the household to please consider the adults, those who might have special needs or just look a little different. If you are open minded and tell us what kind of lifestyle you are looking for, our staff and volunteers will gladly make suggestions. So many personalities and treasures waiting to be discovered! All pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are up to date on vaccines. Learn more on our website. (link in bio).

Good morning! Just a quick update that 44 dogs are available to adopt at the center and 9 are in foster homes. Dog adoptions have been slow. Intake has exceeded adoptions this summer. Puppies are growing up in kennels. Across the nation, large dogs are just taking longer to find homes. WCAC is open for adoptions this week from 10am-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Saturday, we will be open from 11am-3pm. We will be closed Thursday for the 4th. We really need the community’s help getting them some exposure. Please visit our website (link in bio) to view all of our adoptable pets. #Franklintn #springhilltn #nolensvilletn #nashvilletn #brentwoodtn #fairviewtn

Everyone, please wish Barrett from #franklintn a big thank you and birthday wishes! This Winstead Elementary student collected donations in lieu of gifts for his 10th birthday! This is his 4th year in a row donating, because he wants the dogs in our care to be comfortable! Barrett loves ALL dogs, but especially Hank (his staffie). He enjoyed meeting adoptable Rowdy. We are grateful for his donation, but also to his parents for instilling important lessons at such a young age about being kind to animals and the positive impact of paying it forward. Happy Birthday Barrett!
