#XPPenTutorial🎨 Great art tutorial on how to draw hands from artist @riley_kayote ✅ ”⬇️Breakdown/ more tips⬇️ ➡️ Step one is drawing the palm. Unless you’re a master of the dark arts, ALWAYS START WITH THE PALM. it’s literally the foundation of the hand. ✋🏾Using a hexagonal shape is the easiest way to simplify it.[pause and screenshot video for some info] ➡️step 2 is adding the fingers. Using cylindrical shapes is the best way to rough in the position of the fingers.The fingers and palm are about the same in length. As a practical example, you can try resting your fingers on the palm of your opposite hand. And as you can see the hand’s actually quite long. So no more drawing baby hands 😤 ➡️ And step 3, probably should’ve been step one but ALWAYS begin with a loose gesture sketch to get the motion right before you begin adding details.Trust me, you’ll save yourself a lot of time and headaches 😅“ #artreel #arttutorial #digitalart #artistsoninstagram #artvideo #xppenusa #arttips
