SSgt Levari and SrA DelGrande conduct “power ons” to make sure the aircraft is ready to fly during @hawaiiairnationalguard ’s Sentry Aloha 24-2. ✈️ An Air Force “power on” refers to the process of turning on the systems and checking the functionality of an aircraft before a flight. This includes checking the electrical systems, engines, and other critical components to ensure that the aircraft is safe and ready for operation. Sentry Aloha is a two-week National Guard Bureau training event that brought together more than 1,000 troops from nine states and four service branches, providing essential combat training to joint and total-forces units.
