THIS! This has got to be one of the coolest photos Ive ever taken! For several reasons. It has NOT been altered in photoshop, it is NOT AI, and I did NOT use Lightroom to make these trees pink. That, is the work of Kodak’s ‘Aerochrome’. An infrared film that was discontinued in 2009. With a bit of research, an orange filter, a few videos from @50_shades_of_jason - a little bit of luck, a medium format film camera, I was able to shoot a roll that expired in 2011 a few weeks ago. This took place in none other than Lake Como. A perfect spot! What a stressful experience! Aside the uniqueness of this now retired film stock, the photo looks totally AI if you’ve never seen Aerochrome before. With Instagrams new updates, it may even be flagged as such without you having anything to do with it. Wild. Today’s video, is about these new changes, Ai Badges, and of course - shooting Aerochrome.
