This year’s edition is curated by the duo Katalin Erdődi and Aleksei Borisionok. Eight artists were commissioned to develop new artworks for the Biennale: Kateryna Lysovenko, Alicja Rogalska, Nikita Kadan, Marta Popivoda, DAVRA research group, Zbyněk Baladrán, Tomáš Uhnák, and Björnsonova collective. The Bienale is organized by tranzit.cz in cooperation with the National Gallery Prague.

✨ The opening of the Biennale Matter of Art in the Lidice Art Collection was terrific last week. 🧡 Na slavnostním zahájení bienále se rozezněly celou Velkou dvoranou Veletržního paláce folklórní písně pěveckého sboru Lada, na které odpovědělo duo Márton Bertók a Áron Porteleki z experimentálního hudebního projektu Peasants in Atmosphere; designové studio The Rodina připravilo performativní čtení z publikace Zasévat Neklid, antologie textů k letošnímu bienále; Anjte Schiffers nás pohostila domácí pálenkou, sesbíranou z různých koutů Evropy.
