Tomorrow marks the anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence—a momentous occasion in history. As we celebrate, let’s also recognize that freedom isn’t universal. Let’s stand together to support those still striving for their rights. 🌍✨ #IndependenceDay#FreedomForAll#littlecupofhistory
At the NYC pride parade, we celebrate the beautiful tapestry of our identities, dancing in the streets with vibrant joy and fierce pride. But within this celebration, there’s also a deep undercurrent of pain. The world is heavy with the heartache of watching genocides unfold, such as the horrors faced by our people in Gaza. Even here, where love and acceptance should reign, we saw the unjust arrests of those who dare to speak out for the voiceless and oppressed. (fuck you nypd that parade was for us not you!)
This duality of joy and sorrow is a poignant reminder of our shared human connection. In these moments, we come together not just as a community, but as a family united by love and resilience. For me, the LGBTQ+ community has always been my sanctuary, the place where I am seen and where I truly belong. This family is my love, my soul, and I would spend forever fighting for our rights, our peace, and our tranquility.
Pride is a testament to our enduring spirit. It’s a celebration of how far we’ve come and a solemn acknowledgment of the battles still ahead. Today and every day, we stand in solidarity, our hearts beating as one, embracing both the joy and the sadness that shape our journey. In unity, we find strength, and in love, we find hope. 🌈

Today we highlight our important partnership with @immigrationequality . An organization that works tirelessly to provide just and equality for all LGBTQ+ and HIV-positive immigrants.
On the day of its independence, America chose a motto to show how proud it was of its diversity and welcome. Over the centuries “E Pluribus Unum” — “out of many, one” — has meant welcoming in tens of millions of the “huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” As Pride month and World Refugee Day coincide, we shine a spotlight on a few of those free-breathing folks who have made it to these United States from a world that has oppressed them because of their identity.
In a world where displacement is increasingly common, stories like those of Tiffany, Sal, Youssef, Noni, Nature Brian, and Pasha are not just narratives of personal achievement but calls to action for all of us to continue building a more inclusive and compassionate society.
