This was a great panel and book launch, thank you Marcel Cobussen, Vincent Meelberg, Chris Stover and Tracy McMullen for your artistic research expertise and wonderful contributions and Loes Rusch for chairing so competently. Thank you to Institute for Jazz Research for organizing the inspiring 13th International Jazz Research Conference at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz.
From June 13-15 we will welcome this group of amazing artist-scholars in jazz with the addition of Monika Herzig, Jasna Jovićević and Chats Devroop for artistic research on the various preparation strategies in jazz at the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt, followed by the Kick-Off Event of the Center for Artistic Research in Jazz at the JAM MUSIC LAB University in Vienna. Exciting times ahead.
