Als Styrian Artist in Residence im Forum Stadtpark hat sich @lauretahhh während der Monate April und Mai in die künstlerische Community von Graz eingebracht.
Zum Abschluss ihres Aufenthalts wird sie Einblicke in ihre Erfahrungen als Residentin in Graz geben und die Projekte vorstellen, an denen sie während ihres Aufenthalts gearbeitet hat.
In ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit beschäftigt sie sich mit Privatsphäre, Geschlecht, Intimität, digitalen Ökosystemen, Videospielen und (un)möglichen Zukünften. Durch ihre Arbeit mit digitalen Medien präsentiert sie verschiedene Sichtweisen der “Realität”.
Das zweite Foto stellt einen Ausschnitt ihrer aktuellen Arbeiten dar.

The curatorial concept of the exhibition “I sing the body electric, the armies of those I love”, (based on the poem by Walt Whitman) brings to its center ‘the body’, by inviting us to reflect on the deeper significance and purpose of our physical existence. More than 20 young and established artists from different backgrounds selected for this exhibition are all presenting the body, in one way or another while encouraging us to consider the body as more than just a physical shell.
