EDIDA 2024 • WINNER • SYMBIOOSA lamps designed by LLEV for Lasvit • Our design of the SYMBIOOSA lamps collection, which is controlled by the process of mycelium growth, was recognized by the jury of the EDIDA Czech in the Sustainable Design cathegory • Thank you, it is a great honor for us • Our light breathes in rhythm with the daily light cycles and creates optimal light conditions for all times of day and night • • The innovation that we used together with Lasvit in the Symbioosa collection is a two-channel lamp control system. With this controller, dimming can be set and the user can set the light spectrum from warm to white. The Symbioosa lighting furthermore respects the changes in natural ambient light throughout the day and changes accordingly. • Is a tribute to mycelium, the fungi to which we owe the existence of plants and other important manifestations in nature. While light gives energy to all life, mycelium, on the other hand, grows underground, quietly and without light. Featuring a floor lamp and table lamp, the illumination of the Symbioosa collection figuratively grows out of the darkness to shine. This is the first time Lasvit has used a two-channel system which allows one to set Symbioosa's dimming according to need, allowing users to choose from a spectrum of white and yellow light, or custom set the light's intensity and composition based on what's best for the time of day. Jaký je příběh skleniček a váz Symboll vyrobené pro @lasvitdesign od @llevdesignstudio ? #behindthescenes 🔥 Krása se ukrývá v nedokonalosti. Když tento odmítaný jev přijmeme, zjeví se nám úžasný svět přirozených i nadpřirozených forem a povrchů skla. I bublinka ve skle, kterou řada lidí považuje za vadu, může být krásná. Dlouhodobou snahou členů studia LLEV je najít způsob, jak dílo nechat splynout s přírodními procesy. Neopakovatelný povrch skla s otiskem růstu mycelia odkazuje na živelnost přírody bez limitů. Ke vzniku této limitované edice přispěla brněnská společnost @mykiliocz , která vyrábí substrát s myceliem a už je výrobcem i všech forem pro celou kolekci Symboll, nacházející se v portfoliu značky Lasvit. 🔥 Design studio LLEV založili Eva a Marcel Mochalovi (oba * 1978) po absolutoriu Vysoké školy uměleckoprůmyslové v Praze v roce 2004. Pracují s intuicí, moderními i tradičními metodami a respektem k zadání. Používají specifický tvůrčí jazyk, pro který je charakteristická práce nejen s tvarem, ale i poselstvím každého produktu, jeho příběhem nebo zasazením do současného kontextu udržitelnosti.
