Joey x Dirk It’s the @imsa_racing event at Watkins Glen and Dirk has just brought the #65 Mustang in with a brake issue. As the team pulls out all the stops to get the car back in the race, Joey makes sure his team mate is ready to go. @joeyhandracing and @dirkmuellerracing ’s friendship is a real and it’s successful. They have won many races together, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It’s only a matter of time before they win in the Mustang. THE NIGHT SHIFT TO END ALL NIGHT SHIFTS The #64 @protoncompetition @fordperformance Mustang GT3 finished the Centenary edition of the #Spa24H P12 in the PRO category after 24 hours of some of the most gruelling racing we have ever witnessed. In the hands of our amazing works drivers, @chrismies @f_vervisch and @dennis_olsen , the Mustang went from 31st at the start, right back into the 50s during the opening stages, clearly struggling with the dry pace (we’re working on that 👊) and missing out on wave arounds during countless full course yellow (FCY) and safety car periods. But then night fell. And so did the rain. The night shift put in by all three drivers and the entire team was incredible. While most of Europe was sleeping, the #64 Mustang moved up from P53 to P6, thanks to stellar driving and smart strategy calls from the pits. To even finish this race is an achievement, as 27 cars didn’t, but the Mustang came home P19 overall and P12 in the PRO category. The pace will come and our team of warriors will be ready.

What a rollercoaster ride of a race 🎢   Watkins Glen threw a bit of everything at us, especially in the weather department. With heavy rain showers punctuating the six-hour race it was a very busy afternoon for the team. @mike_rockenfeller @harrytincknell :   The #64 Mustang was leading the race for a long time and if it wasn’t for the timing of a yellow, who knows what could have been. We just missed the pit lane entry during some particularly heavy rain and those behind us had more time to react so they pitted. We took fifth at the flag but we will never stop pushing for more. @dirkmuellerracing @joeyhandracing :   The #65 Mustang suffered a brake issue in the opening laps of the race but once on its way again, Dirk and Joey found good pace. They too will be hunting for a lot more when we get to Mosport in a few weeks’ time. @fordperformance #mustanggt3

Getting into the groove at Watkins Glen. We’re still pushing and we’re still making progress. @mike_rockenfeller finished up 7th in qualifying at @wgi1948 . Here’s what he had to say about it… “We are getting closer to the front, which is good. I think we had a Top 5 position in us today but the traffic management didn’t quite work out. I tried to make a gap to the guy in front of me but I just came too close so I slowed down again, then came too close. I think we had another two tenths in us but I’m sure lots of drivers are saying that! I think we should be happy with the result as we know we have a bit more in our pocket. I feel like we have something to fight for tomorrow so now we need to focus on the race.” Tomorrow, we race!

1:15.1 Not just faster than the LM GTE qualifying record at @roadatlanta , but also faster than LMP3 & Formula Atlantic. The GT MK IV is just ... incredible. Hell, I was giving 1:16 *passenger laps* in it this morning. My helmet's off, once again, to the talented folks at @fordperformance and @multimaticmotorsports for building this amazing car. Beautiful, fast, and friendly to drive even for a non-pro driver. It's everything I hoped it would be, and more. Wow.

Hunting for a hat trick 🏆 🏆 ❔ @sebastianpriaulx is back behind the wheel of @aoracingusa ’s prehistoric Porsche this weekend at Watkins Glen, ready to do battle alongside his teammate @laurin_heinrich . The duo won the last two races at Laguna Seca and Detroit. Can they do it again at @wgi1948 ? And will Rexy have 2 gold teeth this weekend? 🦖
