Isla being one of the first reapers to accept Nyx as one of them has been like a big sister teaching her about everything she needs to know since day one. Though Nyx has spent a lot time feeling lost and not understanding herself she always found a sense of comfort within Isla. She was the one who took her on her very first mission, the one who always defends her and the one she can always go to if she needs anything. All of the reapers carry their respective artifacts. One of Isla’s artifacts is the Serenity Lantern (which you can see in her hand) whenever she leads the souls to a safe place the light from lantern helps keep the monsters away giving the souls a safe passage. Isla’s soft, caring and understanding nature makes her connect to every soul she takes care of. That’s why her soul key reveals when she cries upon seeing the memories of the person who’s soul she takes. What is a soul key…? When her parents moved to the human world, they agreed that that their children would still attend the Magic Academy after they complete their human studies. So when Mari recieved her acceptance letter from the academy, her grandfather threw a ball in honor of her and her cousin Élise, who would also start the Magic Academy this year. This occasion meant its time for a family reunion for the first time in many years. The Lenoir family is one of the three royal families who rule the vampire world. Despite being part of the royal Lenoir family, Mari’s parents preferred to distance themselves from their status and live ordinary lives in the human world. Mari and Élise were tasked with starting the opening dance as the tradition says. For this special occasion their grandfather gifted them two beautiful hand-sewn dresses. Mari wasn’t sure how to act, having grown up in the human world nobody even called her by her full name „Marilla” in years. The reunion and ball left her feeling very anxious. Unlike her cousin, Mari wasn’t too confident in her dancing skills and didn’t know the proper etiquette. To make things more complicated Élise has been cold and distant ever since Mari’s arrival which was very confusing to her as they used to be very close. How will the ball go? Will Élise finally explain her behaviour?
