It has been a stormy day with heavy downpours and numerous safety car phases throughout the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. The race was even interrupted for an extensive red-flag period due to flooding on the track. In the GTD class, our Ford #55 unfortunately had to retire after a collision on its way to the pitlane. The car was on slick tires and heading in to switch to rain tires when the incident occurred due to the wet conditions. In the GTP category, the Porsche #5 crossed the checkered flag in P7. With only 20 minutes left when the race finally resumed, there was no chance to improve on that position.
