Today, #TeamMildenhall is honored to host the twin engine Douglas A-26C Invader “Miss Millionairess” which was built in Long Beach, California and joined the USAAF in 1941. Isn’t she beautiful? 😍 Thanks for sharing @millionairfbos 🥰

We have a unique opportunity to see the Douglas A-26C Invader “Miss Millionairess” as it departs Europe on its ways back to the U.S. after participating in events for the 80th D-Day commemoration.
This twin engine Douglas A-26C Invader was built at Long Beach in California and joined the USAAF in 1941. Its military history is not known, but the aircraft ended up at Davis-Monthan, where it went into civilian ownership. From 1967, it was operated by Conair Aviation Ltd as a fire bomber. By the mid-1980s, the A-26 had moved to Planes of Fames (East), and by 1998, it transferred to Palm Springs Air Museum, CA. Various owners followed, and the Invader eventually ended up with Million Air as “Miss Millionairess.”
Come see Miss Millionairess at Hardstand 43 behind Bldg 669 (PAX Terminal)! Members should park at the PAX terminal and walk through the building to the flight line.

The 100th ARW Command Team integrated with the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron structures shop for a day to receive firsthand experience on how the #100thCES supports the installation.
From designing and printing signs to assembling a lock for a newly printed key, Col. Garlow and CMSgt Humpries had their work cut out for them!
A1C Krista Crosby showcased the many essential tasks her shop oversees and was coined for her dedication to the mission.

The 100th ARW command team congratulated TSgt Savier Hernandez-Beltre, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron unit training manager, for being the ReaDy Airman of the Week!
TSgt Hernandez-Beltre serves as the unit deployment manager and is responsible for the readiness of nearly 300 military and civilian civil engineers.

Honoring the legacy of the 100th Bomb Group ✈
Cast members of the Apple+ TV mini-series, #MastersoftheAir , met with Team Mildenhall during a base tour. During the tour, actors visited squadrons around the installation to meet with Airmen, take photos, and sign autographs. These events highlighted the legacy of the #BloodyHundredth 100th Bomb Group.

#RAFMildenhall Airmen had the pleasure of hosting some cast members of the Apple+ TV miniseries, #MastersoftheAir , during a Normandy flyover in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The 100th ARW is honored to keep alive the legacy of the 100th Bomb Group, who took part in many missions throughout World War II including 3 missions as part of D-Day.
