On this 80th anniversary of D-Day, God spared my dad despite this piece of shrapnel from a German warplane falling near his feet on Omaha Beach. Thank you to those that were there… and sadly to those that still are…🇺🇸
So these two have been hanging out in my front yard all day. The robin goes and finds worms… brings them back and feeds the not robin (starling??). I’ll call her a she cuz her head feathers are floofy and she never stops chirping. She chirps and Mr. Robin brings more food, then she poops on my bench, plants, walkway…
Quick dinner with leftover rotisserie chicken, precooked pasta, add either olive oil and spices , Italian dressing, or Spiedie Sauce. While warming in saucepan, add halved cherry tomatoes and spinach… cover and heat til tomatoes blister and spinach is wilted. So good!
