One of the first full features I shot for @verticalmag was covering the 56th Rescue Squadron before their move to Aviano. Since then I’ve always been fascinated by the CSAR mission. So it was an absolute privilege to have the opportunity to visit the CSAR CTF at Nellis AFB. Providing invaluable insights into the future of CSAR, including the testing of the HH-60W and the integration of Guardian Angel and Isolated Personnel divisions. It’s crucial to understand the significance of these operations in near/peer to peer environments. It’s also the cover story for the latest issue of @verticalvalor which is now LIVE! To check it out follow the link in their bio.
Huge thanks to everyone at the CTF, @53rdwing Public Affairs and a big thanks to @rescuejake too!

For #ArmyAviation , there’s no aircraft more fundamental to operations now and in the future than the UH-60M Black Hawk. With more than 15 million combined flight hours worldwide, the Black Hawk is the @USArmy_ !!re!!_039;s rugged, reliable, do-it-all aircraft that powers strategic and tactical operations.
The Black Hawk fleet is a global ecosystem composed of thousands of in-service helicopters – with more than 15 million flight hours combined. These aircraft have proven their versatility and capability across a spectrum of challenging missions with the U.S. and 35 other nations across Europe and around the globe.
Looking forward to seeing the feature and video on the @usairforce CSAR CTF go live in the upcoming issue of @verticalvalor . Make sure you sign up to the newsletter to get the issue delivered straight to your inbox when it does go live in a few weeks!

We’re conducting flight tests of a novel vertical takeoff and landing uncrewed aerial system for @darpa . The flight tests are intended to prove the efficiency and scalability of a twin proprotor ‘rotor blown wing’ configuration that sits on its tail to take off and land like a helicopter and transitions easily to horizontal forward flight for long-endurance missions, such as intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting.
