I've been painting obsessively since I was 16 years old. It kicked off under the guidance of a great art teacher at school. It's amazing to think that one person can inspire and set you on a path that will change the trajectory of your life. I've done my 10,000 hours (and then some) since then, and there is still so much further that I want to go. I've barely scratched the surface! Thanks for all your support over the years. Following me from series to series, exhibition to exhibition, being there through all of the highs and lows. It's a pleasure and an honour to be able to create and share my art with the world and to be part of a community of talented people who have sacrificed everything to follow their passion. To all the dreamers: NEVER GIVE UP!! When people say you can't, they can't. They lack imagination. Double down on yourself. Learn to live with self-doubt and do it anyway. Get to work.Yes, you can. Happy Friday, beautiful people! I barely got the frame on this guy before a lovely couple came to visit my gallery and took it away 🤝 I was inspired by a willow tree that leans into the pond in Crystal Palace Park that I always stop under whenever I pass 🍃 I took the mark making for a walk in this one and combined dashes and vertices with multicoloured foliage underneath. All the patterns and colours jostling together on the canvas. Just got this lovely pair of woodland prints back from my framer. These artworks were inspired by a summer walk in Beckenham Place Park last year. Love how the anti-reflection glass is near invisible and allows you to appreciate the artwork without any visual interference. It adds on about £100 to the framing cost, but it's so worth it! If you want a nice big artwork, elegantly presented, but don't have the budget for an original, these are a great option.
