A new Contemporary Czech Art in Berlin (CCAiB) podcast episode with the people behind the project “Exploring Sound Fields - Imaginary Workspace”. Our host
@simbinko discusses this specific 🇨🇿-🇩🇪 working process with the participants from multiple perspectives.
Students of
@umprum_praha and
@udkberlin experimented with performance, sensors, sound generation and its transformation into visual forms. They dealt with the questions of what we use music (understood in the broadest possible sense) for, how we react to it, where and in what form we encounter it.
Together, they created a platform where innovative artistic practices can be developed with analogue and digital media, and at the same time realized. They focused not only on music and visual art, but also more generally on the interplay between performativity and sound in the environment that surrounds us.
