When I left home this morning for Flatford I thought the rain would keep people away. How wrong was I. @wendy_paints and I were greeted by a coach load of appreciative visitors followed by many friends, collectors and others. What a privilege to be showing in such an idyllic setting - dancing mayflies, fecund hedgerows and the beautiful buildings once frequented by #constable#constablecountry#johnconstable
The exhibition arose out of a residency at the mill by some of the participating artists who have had a long-standing interest in Constable.
