My Dad said when they put the rocket/missile tubes on his Huey, they painted a big white cross on his window, that was his crosshairs to it. Line up cross on the window and pull the trigger. 1965.

My dad was a door gunner on a huey in Vietnam. He never talked about it, the only thing he did tell me was that he lost count of how many people he encountered. Luckily he made it home alive. He passed away 14 years ago. Too young to go😢
