Today would have been my great friend the great artist, Ashley Bickerton’s birthday 🎂 he would have been 65 today, here he is at his show at Newport Street in April 21 - August 20, 2017 with his wife Cherry, my other great friend film maker Roddy Bogawa and the Supersonic man of mystery Hans Ulrich Obrist, in front of Ashley’s giant Good/Bad painting, sending love ❤️ and respect and tears into the ether.
I have a show opening at my museum in London.
Curated by my son Connor Hirst, it includes paintings from my collection with works from artists such as Francis Bacon, Georg Baselitz, Rachel Howard, Sarah Lucas, and more. It opens at Newport Street Gallery on the 24 May.

‘The Archangels’ starts today on @HENI Editions. If you want to see them they are on display at HENI Gallery in Soho, London.
Four landscape format prints based on my four-panelled Cherry Blossoms paintings, which I named after the archangels - Raphael, Uriel, Michael and Gabriel.
